Across Europe and globally, millions of people are benefitting from easy language variants that make communication clearer, more accessible and more inclusive. As in Finland alone, around 700,000 people need Easy Finnish, this language variant is by no means a marginal phenomenon.<\/p>\n
During this presentation, we will briefly explore the principles and benefits of easy language\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 Easy Finnish in particular \u2013 from a professional editor’s point of view. At the end of the session, attendees will have the opportunity to apply the principles of Easy Finnish in practice through Finnish-language examples, which will be explained in English. The webinar may therefore also be of interest to those working with easy language in other languages.
